Why should I register?

We encourage you to register when using our website, however, it is not required. Our registration form requires users to give us contact information such as name, email address, and password. You must be 18 years of age or older to register. Registration helps us to provide you with a quick and simple checkout experience, whilst also allowing you to view content that you otherwise would be unable to access. The customer contact information you supply on the registration form will be used to contact you concerning the status of an order or to answer your questions. What information does Qure collect?

We collect various types of personal information from our Users. Personal information refers to information by which you can be identified. Qure treats information collected by cookies, web beacons and third-party website analytics tools as Non-Personal information.

How is the collected information used?

• For personal data from the European Union or the European Economic Area (the “EEA”). • The website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

Qure™ shall process personal data in accordance with European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regards to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”) and applicable data protection laws.

• If at any time you want details of the personal information that we have on file for you or no longer want us to maintain your Personal Information, please send us a written request by e-mail to support@qureskincare.com. Please be advised that if a new, subsequent order is placed on our website, your Personal Information would again need to be stored in our database.
• Any general information submitted by you such as your zip code, product experiences or other information which is not specifically identifiable with you, including feedback to any general questionnaires on the site, or information gathered on your visit to the site such as the length of time you were on the site and the portions of the site you reviewed, shall be considered non-confidential information. We shall be free to use such information without any obligation to you whatsoever and for any purposes and through any means we elect.

Will Qure share information it collects?

We will not rent, sell nor disclose your Personal Information with other parties except only as described below:

1. We may share your information with Qure Merchants
   • Some circumstances call for us to share some of your Personal Information with Qure merchants. For example, we may share with Qure merchants (payment facility) information to fulfill your orders as well as aid in post-purchase requests like responding to your questions and comments and facilitating returns and exchanges. This means that a Qure merchant may communicate with you directly should they choose to do so. We specifically disclaim any responsibility or liability for the actions of such Qure  merchant.
2. We may share your information with Third Party Service Providers
   • We employ other companies as authorized third party providers to perform a function or provide services for you on our behalf. For example, a third party service provider may send out or distribute transactional and promotional emails. We may also share Personal Information to third party service providers to fulfill orders, deliver packages, send postal mail or electronic mail, administer contests or sweepstakes, remove repetitive information on customer lists, analyze data, provide marketing assistance, provide search results and links, process credit card payments, operate the Website, troubleshot and provide customer service. We will only share your Personal Information to the extent that we deem it necessary or related to such transaction or service. The use of Personal Information by such parties is governed by their privacy policies and is not subject to our control.
   • We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

Is personal information about me secure?

Qure™ takes extra measures to protect the security of your Personal Information. You can access your Personal Information on our web site through your account, which is protected by a password. This password is encrypted. To keep your Personal Information secure, we recommend that you do not share your password with any individual. If you registered for an account via Facebook/Facebook Messenger, you may have additional or different sign-in protections through Facebook.

Additional measures are in place to ensure the security of your Personal Information. Your Personal Information is stored on a secure server that only selected personnel and contractors have access to. We encrypt certain sensitive information, such as credit card information, using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your Personal Information is safe as it is transmitted to us.

Does Qure protect children’s privacy?

This site is not for use by children under the age of thirteen (13) years old. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we have no intention of knowingly collecting any Personal Information from individuals who are under the age of thirteen (13) years of age. If we learn that a child under the age of thirteen (13) has submitted Personal Information without verifiable parental consent, we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our databases.

You can always opt not to disclose information to us. Please take note, however, that we require some information for you to engage in some activities and access certain features on the web site. Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, and demographic information, such as your age, gender, country, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the App or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the App, such as online chat and message boards. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from using certain features of the App.

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the App, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the App. This information may also include your device name and type, your operating system, your phone number, your country, your likes and replies to a post, and other interactions with the application and other users via server log files, as well as any other information you choose to provide.

Account Login Permissions

The App may by default access your Facebook, Google and Apple basic account information, including your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL, as well as other information that you choose to make public. We may also request access to other permissions related to your account, such as friends, check-ins, and likes, and you may choose to grant or deny us access to each individual permission. For more information regarding Facebook, Google or Apple permissions we refer to their privacy policies.

Mobile Device Data

Device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, if you access the App from a mobile device.

Third-Party Data

Information from third parties, such as personal information or network friends, if you connect your account to the third party and grant the App permission to access this information.

Data From Contests, Giveaways, and Surveys

Personal and other information you may provide when entering contests or giveaways and/or responding to surveys.

Mobile Application Information

If you connect using our mobile application:

We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application, to provide location-based services. • Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.

App Analytics

We may also partner with selected third-party vendors, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and potentially others, to allow tracking technologies and remarketing services on the App through the use of first party cookies and third-party cookies, to, among other things, analyse and track users’ use of the App, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand online activity. By accessing the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information by these third-party vendors. You are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions. We do not transfer personal information to these third-party vendors. 

Image Sharing

We will not distribute any images uploaded through the ‘My Progress’ section of the App. Only images shared by you through the share button and directly emailed to us will be stored on our local servers. When sending the images, you agree to allow us to view, distribute, and use them for research or promotional purposes. 

THIRD-PARTY WEBAPPS

The App may contain links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including advertisements and external services, that are not affiliated with us. Once you have used these links to leave the App, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites or applications, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website or application, and should take those steps necessary to, in your discretion, protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other Apps, services or applications that may be linked to or from the App.

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly. 

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
